Somatic 1:1 Sessions

When your mind and body feel safe and in balance, everything starts aligning. Life gets easier to handle, and you can truly thrive. Your body is always giving you signals, little (or large) messages asking us to pay attention. It's up to us to listen, respect, and take action. Somatic work helps to deal with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, really anything that brings us out of balance and negatively impacts our overall wellness.

Through somatic work, you will realize that the body has alway been communicating with you, but through conditioning and a stressed lifestyle, we forgot how to listen. For those with chronic stress, anxiety, and panic, you might find pain or discomfort in the body that is not paired with thoughts. Through practicing these tools and techniques, you will learn how to come back into the body, uncover any thoughts or beliefs that might live there, and start the journey of healing those parts of yourself that are hindering you from holistic health and wellbeing.

Somatization = when emotional distress is expressed in the physical body through physical symptoms
So somatic work = the tools, techniques, and approaches that are used to deepen your awareness of being inside your own body as a human being, increase your overall embodiment and awareness, and improve healing and wellbeing.
